Oil and Gesso on canvas
As part of my deep dive into all things 'trees' I have enjoyed making more abstract images of trees. Using piped Gesso coloured with oil paint to create a 3D 'tree trunk' which gives shadows of their own. I love the freedom and layering of the paint to depict the image of trees 'exploding' with colour.
